    Deer resistant flowers: Bee Balm, Black-eyed Susan, Echinacea, Lamb's Ears, Catmint, Lantana, Verbena, Confederate Jasmine........ look for plants with a pungent odor and textured leaves. You can also pick up a deer spray like Liquid Fence to keep deer from eating your plants.

    Make sure you are picking a variety that is hardy in your area. There are new introductions that have increased hardiness to Z4!! And make sure they are planted in well drained soil. Lavender DOES NOT like winter wet.
